The Game Plan

So here it is, the start to my last year in Korea and I must say, it will be a hell of a year. With a little time to breathe between now and the start of my Spring semester I have a few things to talk about. In this blog I’ll talk about some changes I’ve gone through, the plan for the coming year, and some other things. Let’s go!

First, my last year will be fairly hermetic. Since the accident, I have gone through several changes mentally and physically. It has become apparent that some people won’t necessarily put as much into a friendship or relationship that I will. I honestly feel like I have put in the time, effort, and money to travel Korea and lay the foundation for good friendships so now, in my final year, I think it is fair to ask people to come to me. That said, I will still travel every now and then.

Part of the goal of my final year is to take care of myself and put effort into me where I put effort into relationships before. Part of taking care of me is also financial planning. A primary goal here is to save as much as I can during my final year in Korea. Another plan is to keep learning, writing, and working out. I also plan on pushing the healing process with my leg more as well.

I have decided, in an effort to be more productive, to set a pretty routine schedule for my weeks. The Spring 2019 semester starts March 4 and here is what a general week will look like:

Monday:

  • 8:00: Wake up
  • 8:30-9:00: Breakfast
  • 9:00-10:00: Gym
  • 10:00-11:00: Shower and dress
  • 11:00-11:30: Lunch
  • 12:00-1:00: Office Hour
  • 1:00-7:30: Teach
  • 8:00-8:30: Dinner
  • 8:30-10:00: TV/Unwind/Read
  • 10:00-11:30: Write
  • 11:30-12:00: Bed

Tuesday:

  • 8:00: Wake up
  • 8:30-9:00: Breakfast
  • 9:00-10:00: Gym
  • 10:00-11:00: Shower and dress
  • 11:00-11:30: Lunch
  • 12:00-3:00: Study/Delta work
  • 3:00-6:00: Write
  • 6:30-7:30: Teach
  • 8:00-8:30: Dinner
  • 8:30-10:00: TV/Unwind/Read
  • 10:00-11:30: Write
  • 11:30-12:00: Bed

Wednesday:

  • 8:00: Wake up/Breakfast
  • 9:00-2:00: Teach
  • 2:00-2:30: Lunch
  • 3:00-4:00: Gym
  • 4:00-5:00: Shower and dress
  • 5:00-6:00: Dinner
  • 6:30-7:30: Teach
  • 8:00-10:00: Study/Delta Work
  • 10:00-11:30: Write
  • 11:30-12:00: Bed

Thursday:

  • 8:00: Wake up
  • 8:30-9:00: Breakfast
  • 9:00-10:00: Gym
  • 10:00-11:00: Shower and dress
  • 11:00-11:30: Lunch
  • 12:00-3:00: Study/Delta work
  • 3:00-6:00: Write
  • 6:30-7:30: Teach
  • 8:00-8:30: Dinner
  • 8:30-10:00: TV/unwind
  • 10:00-11:30: Write
  • 11:30-12:00: Bed

Friday:

  • 8:00: Wake up
